Does anyone know which relay is for the fuel pump on a 2016 gle I tried looking everywhere for a diagram. I was driving this morning and my vehicle turnt off it cranks but doesn’t start i get a fault code Lost Communication With Fuel Pump Control Module
I replaced both fuse for the fuel pump and it still doesn’t start. I wanna try and replace the relay before I take it in to a shop just need help locating it.
The fuel pump controller is in the back under the spare tire plastic carrier. There's actually a NHTSA recall out (NHTSA Recall ID Number: 22V955) for an issue that would cause your problem. It seems that water can accumulate in the volume underneath the spare and cause problems with the fuel pump controller. There's a post about the recall here.
