Question Michelin Defender2 VS Primacy Tour A/S for Mercedes GLE 350

I have Mercedes GLE 350 2018 with Scorpion Verde 255/50/19 R 107H. Drove 45 K miles in 4 years on it and still have 35% left. Got it slightly damaged on the side but still driveable so i am thinking about changing tires. For the same size, what would be better Michelin Defender2 or Primacy Tour A/S? Prefer quiet/smooth ride/noise isolation/safety.Never accelerate too fast/slalom or overusing breaks.
Driving in Los Angeles. Max 80 mph/no quick turns. Thought that Primacy Tour A/S should be better for my needs as above, but read bad reviews (very low usable tire mileage ~ 35000 miles, wobbly, bad when raining) vs great for Defender2

The way it's written could be interpreted as advertising. It doesn't answer my question and includes bold, uppercase, and enlarged fonts. There are no actual comparison to the tires in question

I have Michelin Pilot Sport all season 4 108Y XL on the GLE400. I only put Michelin Pilot Sport on all my Benz
Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 on my other vehicle Audi Q3 and also on my old Subaru Legacy.

Both tires are great I used them in dry, snow and wet. I still like the Michelin slightly over the Continental in my preference. Maybe because I been rocking the Pilot Sport for the last 18+ years, lol.

If your going to use them in snow I would only get the Pilot Sport all Season 4 only because the other Pilot Sport (summer tires) sucks in the snow. I could not drive my old CLK500 or my E55 even if there was a very light blanket of snow on the ground.

There were no comments so far about good Touring tires (california weather) which are not too sporty tires as in question. Nothing about Definder 2 , Primacy Tour A/S , or even Scorpion Verde.

Perhaps no one who is incented to participate in this community cares enough about touring tires to do their own review. Have you perused YouTube? The vehicle goes under a variety of names, ML350 e.g. I personally spent hours looking at tire reviews before selecting. My chosen Michelin is not available in my stock size, so I got Contis. DWS6+. If you care, get Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental or Pirelli and call it a day. If you don't, Hankook, Cooper, General - I'm not knocking the brands, they just aren't the top tier in my mind...

I won't write my reply like Chef, but I recently purchased the Continental CrossContact LX25 after spending hours deciding on a tire and I'm happy with my decision. My use varies a good amount (for a GLE user) from stop and go traffic with one person to highway trips towing a trailer with four people. They are much more smooth and quiet on the highway when compared to the factory Scorpions, but I reckon a lot of that is down to the age of the tire. You can't go wrong with the Defender 2s either, they were my first choice but out of stock.

Haha Chef, just messing with you. Glad you're enjoying your purchase. How many km/miles have you put on them and would you have a tread depth reading?

Hi McFlurry,
I have put on about 20 K miles in 2 Years. I don’t own a tire depth gauge, but I do have a penny!
There is a LOT of tread depth left…
