Service C items list?
Just got a GLE350, W166 and would like to know where can I get a list of items included in Service C.
I'm still getting used to the Command controls, but didn't find anything useful there, just that in about 5k miles I'll have to perform Service C.
Searched in the forum for those two key words, but got "bubkis".
Hence, Mohamet comes to the mountain.
Try reading many of the helpful posts in the GLE W166 section. The service brochure with intervals and checklists is posted on this site several times.
The car had a Premium package with Harman Kardon stereo, leather seats and I am still finding out the rest, but was not advertised in the website as having them."]https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbworld.org-vbulletin/1888x558/2018_gle350_5aa358ec068ccaadda485980a6ace2cec2c344 29.jpg[/img]
Here are a couple of pics of my 2018 GLE 350 just before I bought it from Carvana. It is in as pristine as the pictures show (until I dent it of course). The local Mercedes dealer told me Mercedes doesn't sell a copy of the original window sticker on a used car, so I'm going to purchase a Monroney window sticker online to find out what the build was for this car. Anyone wants to recommend one that is accurate?

Part of the fun of a car ownership is getting manuals to effect repairs. I have done maintenance and repairs on BMW, Toyotas, Jeep, F150 and now a my 2018 Mercedes.
All of these relying on Chilton, Hayes, factory Service manuals and forum information that has been good enough, while also relying on a OBDII reader and Torque App.
They are good enough for general maintenance, resetting sensors after a wicked blown head gasket, and even a transmission fluid change while monitoring temperature in the OBD reader + custom trans Temp coding.
But with this W166 it seems like I would need to step up to a real code reader. Of concern is the module coding in these modern cars.
Been looking at XTOOL and Legend units that claims they are bi-directional and include Mercedes Benz cars. However...I smell a huge Rattus norvegicus because in the same breath that they claim it does everything for Mercedes they quickly specify Sprinter and Maybach. What about other models???
Got to dig up more on these and other options, but I'm sure that this board participants will be of great help when I get stuck.
