I was driving over a cobblestone street with the window down when I noticed a rattling noise coming from the right front wheel. After checking, it turns out the brake pad anti-rattle clip is missing.

I’m not sure how that could have happened — has anyone here experienced something similar?

I looked up the part on Pelican Parts and it’s around $160, which seems pretty high for what it is. Does anyone have recommendations on where to source this part more reasonably, other than Pelican or going directly through a Mercedes dealer?

I lost one of those about four years ago...unless I am looking at it - I have no idea it is not there.

I looked for a while for a replacement - ebay and what not. Never found one, gave up. I could only find them with the calipers.

It was incorrectly installed the last time your brakes were replaced. Dealership is your only option, around $135 wholesale

Or...do some parking lot surfing and keep an eye out for some other E-Class

Thank you for the feedback. Pelican Parts, Autohaus AZ, Local Mercedes Dealer, $160.00 average price. Unless you buy it on ebay, around $20.00 just blank. I dont go with that option.
