Does anybody know where this car is made.. Germany or Alabama?

Don't think any GLE's are made in Germany.

Only USA as far as I know.

ML was made in Austria, India and Indonesia in the past, then moved to US

AMG GLE43 Coupe

GLE Coupe, GLE SUV, GLS SUV and C-Class are all assembled in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The engines and transmissions are built in Germany.

Do we buy a GLE43 with the GLE in its last year of production in it current state?

I really wish MB had given the Coupe and SUV models different names. It only causes confusion. When you say GLE43, you have to specify Coupe or SUV. The GLE43 Coupe is in its "first" year. In 2016 it had the same body design, but was designated the GLE450.

I assume you're referring to the GLE43 SUV. I can't answer that question for you. You have to weigh the price difference against having the latest generation. Personally, I will never buy another first year production of any vehicle. Don't really want to be a "beta tester" for any automaker. If you follow my logic, you're looking at almost two years.

GLA's are made in Hungary with A-Class, GLC for now are made in Germany since they are E-Class chassis (will add Finland soon).. yes. GLE's and GLA are made in Vance.. great facility that Trump SHOULD talk about, really...
