Sport + Mode

I just picked up my new GLE43 Coupe this week and have been finding out new things every day. I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know but when I put the car in Sport+ mode the car lowers down and the exhaust gets real loud. Plus it really becomes a monster. I love this feature.

Yes it does. I love Sport + too.

Have you tried customizing the "Individual" setting yet?

I'm going to try and lower the car in comfort mode in the individualized settings. Thanks for the good suggestion.

The way the "Individual" setting works is like this. You can independently set the steering, suspension and engine to comfort, sport or sport +. E.g. Engine@Sport+, Steering@Sport and Suspension@Comfort. If you wanted to achieve what you described, you'd set the Suspension to Sport, Engine to Comfort and Steering to whatever. "Sport" suspension mode automatically lowers the chassis by 10mm. Press the "Vehicle Settings" button (directly below the Airmatic button) and you'll see a scale on the left that shows "real time" lowering of the suspension.

You should download this app for your phone. You can save bookmarks of any section in the instruction manual, making reference quick and easy.

I think the owners manual says to leave the car in Comfort setting during the first 1000 mile break-in.

Yes, it does. I followed this recommendation. It wasn't easy. 1,000 miles couldn't get here fast enough.

I just couldn't. Took the guys out from work one day, at about 350 miles, and we just had to see what it would do...
