GLE 43 coupe couple questions
Hi all,
Purchased GLE43 coupe, very happy with it!
However couple questions maybe you guys can help out with:
1. How do you display your gauges on your main 8" screen?
Should it be under vehicle-dynamics-engine data? For some reason i don't have that option.
2. In my country it the car is not equipped with the touchpad. Possible to have it retrofitted?
Many thanks in advance.

I would imagine it's possible to retrofit a touchpad, but it would likely be expensive. You're in Indonesia, correct? I went to the MB ID website and the GLE43 Coupe is pictured with the touchpad.

Yes, you have the right location to show the gauges. I have no idea why it's not showing. What do you see when you go to that section?

Vehicle-Dynamic Select-
Is the option written just DYNAMICS?
The catalogue does show the touchpad but as you can see in the options below theres none mentioning touchpad. (also no surround view, just rearview camera)

Is your car like the one pictured, with the padded armrest extension leading out to the controller knob?

That looks backwards from everything else MB has done on the GLE. I'm curious to know why it's so different.
Good luck but I have no idea how to help other than what GLE43 suggested.

As for the difference in hardware, check the other models on the dealer's lot. If none of them have a touchpad, then I guess they just ship a different version to ID.

Guess I don't have a choice but to go back to the dealer again.
Do you have a picture on what should be there after I selected Dynamic Select?
And the individual setting as well.
Thanks much!

It looks like your car is "skipping" the entire "Dynamic Select" page and going straight to the "Individual Configuration" screen.
Hope this helps.

After you select "Vehicle" in the main menu, turn the controller until you reach "Dynamic Select". Press the controller knob straight "down" to select. On the next screen, you should get an entire page of selections including "Vehicle Data", "Engine Data" and "Individual Configuration". Turn the controller knob to "Engine Data". Press the controller knob straight "down" to select. You should now see the gauge display. If you turn the controller knob to "Individual Configuration" instead of "Engine Data", you can select that. That will bring you to the screen in your pic.

Just find out that mine is NOT equipped with COMAND SYSTEM nor TOUCHPAD.
This vehicle is so downgraded in this country. DAMN!!

Sorry that it's equipped that way. Hopefully the cost reflects the downgraded equipment. On a positive note, It's one less thing to break!!! Good Luck!!
