The guys emailed me yesterday, they say they now have their lowering module working with our cars.


I have used lowering links in the past, but this seems much easier to reverse and change settings. Not as expensive as other modules.

Has anyone tried this ?

I have used lowering links and springs on other cars, but this is the best way to lower (or raise) the car. Highly recommended,

I purchased one of these and it arrived today (in about 6 days). I was using adjustable links but wanted the quick adjustability this offered so I reinstalled my stock links and went this route.

Just some extra info to pass along if you are looking at this device. At first, I could not make the adjustment from "factory" to "low" or "custom." I watched the video and followed along but nothing. When I tried using the touchpad and/or central controller wheel, nothing would happen on the screen. I emailed the owner (who was very quick to reply) and was advised that some for some models, you must make the changes using the keypad. So, buttons 4 and 6 for left/right and 2 and 8 for up/down and button 5 for enter.

After that little piece of info, it worked great. Start the engine, COMAND set to radio, plug in the module and use the keypad to adjust to your setting. After pressing button 5 (enter), I would see a message "Security Access.." for about 5 seconds and then the vehicle level would adjust to whichever setting was selected. Then remove the device and all is good. I did add a velcro strap to mine to make it easier to remove when sitting in the drivers seat as the plastic case is hard to grip tightly.

I was happily impressed with the owners responsiveness via email. I emailed a video of my challenge and he was quick to provide the updated instructions.

When the vehicle is lowered via the module, it does not show a lowered state on the display, which I expected. I will do some more testing, but my guess is that the display shows the level the vehicle "thinks" it is in (either +1/raised ~ 0/normal ~ -1/lowered at speed or in sport modes) and this module basically alters the data the module receives from the sensors (or something like that so that the module is not aware of a change in height)

 

I am selling my car, selling my lowering module for $350 (I had it a month, paid $500).

Also, have a set of OEM 22" rims available $2,500 (Paid $3,500 in March)
