After the visit to the dealer I notices that the plastic round plug in rear bumper is hanging loos. I tried number of times to put it back in but it comes out and just hangs loose.
Has anybody had this problem ?
I’m afraid to go back to the dealer in case they screw it up more.
That could either be the tertiary exhaust port that makes the loud pops and bangs for your car, or as the manual calls it out specifically , the tow hook bracket.
Go go ahead and take it to the dealer so they can cause more damage. It’s what they do best.

I had the problem fixed by using “professionally” installed duct tape. Lol
Glc63 with towing attachment does not have tow hook bracket.
So the hole is there for nothing,

the dealer’s service dept also broke the pins to hold the plastic engine cover part around the cap to fill oil. They broke it and they won’t cover it. It rattles a little so o stuck some tape to hold it tighter. Ridiculous.
Ok. So you are right. The manual says there is no tow hook with the trailer package.
Vehicles with a trailer tow hitch do not have a bracket for the screw-in towing eye at the back. Connect the towbar to the trailer tow hitch
(See page 202).
if it doesn’t stay. I would definitely try to get it replaced if you are still under warranty.
