Traded my low mile C63 cab for the beast today. Obsidian black with P3, carbon Fiber, night pkg, pano roof, black spokes, perf exhaust/steering wheel and other stuff.

Really a great drive back home and struggled to remember the break in. Basic pics so I don’t get the proof request. Cheers. Look forward to learning about the good and maybe not of this.

Do you feel like the interior was a downgrade compared to the C63?

HUH? Why would it be? Do you think the W205 has better materials over a W166?

Downgrade? No, for sure not a downgrade. Is the C63 interior nice? Absolutely, but that would be expected given the age of the W166 in comparison. But the interior features that I noticed as not as updated are the drive mode control and some of the other electronics. So far I'm loving it. Wish the seats had extending knee bolsters but I'm sure I'll adjust.

Do you have multi-contour seats? You can extend the seat bottom if you do.

Right, I know. No multi contours. Unfortunately. But I wasn't going to let that stop me it was such a good deal.

What was the discount they gave you? Since trade was involved it skews numbers somewhat, but still. TIA.

I don't mind sharing the general deal. I had a C63 trade that they gave me almost KBB retail for trade value, so it really didn't impact the deal that much.
As for the GLE63S: MSRP is just under $119k. It had less than 100 miles, but the warranty started so i had them add MB extended warranty. The "sale price" then including the warranty was around $87k roughly with 4 years and a few months of warranty. I also got a tire/wheel policy separately.

All in all, it was something over 25% off MSRP for a new vehicle and I got a trade value that was as good as I could expect. I'm very pleased it worked out as well as it did.
