New gle63s fault
When I started the car to drive out of the showroom an engine light came on. The dealer principal got involved and told me they needed to keep the car for 2-3 days but would not tell me what the fault was.
24 hours later the service manager tells me it was a faulty fuel injector and they are going to replace it. They will need anywhere from 30km to 100km of driving for testing.
I am feeling very unsure about this as I paid top dollar to get this car early. I have been offered no compensation for this.
Do you think this Has caused any damage to the car and am I entitled to some compensation?
In terms of the car itself, hopefully its nothing serious and will not happen again.
When my E63s was delayed by 2 months I told them how unhappy I am and they contacted the head office who agreed them give me 4 free future service visits. They might of been worried that I would cancel. It wasn't much but made me feel much better and showed me that they care.
