Well, she was built today. Got the VIN from the SA. Looks like all the options I expected are still there according to the MSRP itemized build sheet they print at the dealer. The exceptions to what I ordered which were not built remain the same the past 2 months, being no wireless charging, no heated/cooled cupholders, no augmented video navigation, no dashcam.
The other toys seem to all be there: DA2, DA3, DA4, DB0, DC6, DT1, P64, RXU, U78, 399, 401, 413, 581, 872, 883 (along with the diamond white paint, wood dash, leather, etc. normal option items).
The last time I tweaked the order list was Nov. 20th, so it has remained in their build system since then with no mods by me. Hope everyone else gets what they want when yours is built.
What a wait... let's hope there are no surprises when delivery happens in a couple weeks.... (well, I really hope it is just a couple weeks until delivery - I have no idea when it will happen, as it is just normal car carrier 18 wheeler transport from AL to FL).
I was warned about the heated and cooled cupholders and the passenger seat memory, not wireless phone charging though... I too got my build substituted for a stock GLE that was in line, but ordered mine 12/17/21. I'm hoping for a March build. I think yours has to go to the Brunswick VPC before it is shipped to FL...
Yes, correct - has to goto Brunswick first. Guess they add the wheel locks there and the rear hatch sill / scuff plate. The power passenger seat w/ memory seems to be on mine still - we will see when it arrives. Hope you get it all. The only stock item that mine was not built with was the wireless charging, and as others posted about they knocked off -$200 for that being missing.
I've had an order for a 22' GLE 53 since October for a February build. Just got my build sheet w/ VIN from my dealer, car is being built right now. I lost the wireless charging ($200 credit) and I lost the heated / cooled cupholders. Passenger seat with memory is there, but is now a $350 stand-alone option. Base price has also increased since I ordered, by about $600.

Well the VIN just showed today on the mb.vin website and I can see that they built everything the previous MSRP printout showed from my SA, with the consistent exceptions being no wireless charging, no heated/cooled cupholders, no augmented video navigation, no dashcam. Now just waiting to see when they release it to carrier and hope it doesn't sit too long either in Vance or at the Brunswick VPC.
Well, my 53 never went to Brunswick VPC - guess they did the wheel locks and rear sill plate at Vance. Driver picked up mine with 5 or 6 others and drove/delivered today to my dealer just around lunchtime. Has to go thru PDI tonight/tomorrow and I should have it in the afternoon - finally! It was just as ordered, with exceptions noted in my earlier post here in this thread. No surprises. Some quick notes per other threads of late: there is no cargo net on the front passenger side of the center console tunnel; there is no sunglasses holder as there is a speaker in it's place with the high-end Burmester sound package; came with Michelin PS4's; no spare tire but has a sealant/inflator kit in the rear well; chrome door / window frame pieces look to be very well aligned - they are level; front seat plastic wrap has Lear Corp. labels on them as the supplier; whole interior was very well protected with plastic, cardboard panels, and even plastic tubs(mats) on the driver side floor and sill; 1.7 miles at delivery.

I enjoyed your post! This is nice work (especially from someone who is awaiting a build as well). We rarely, if ever, haul enough requiring the third seat (and we do-still have a 2021 Escalade in our fleet) That said, my wife howled when I told her the third seat option was nixed due to the Burmester high-end option (evidently the sub is in the same spot). I hope it is/was worth it. Please let me know...
Well, delivery day at last. Very limited time in the car today but what a pleasure to drive. Going to be hard to baby the engine during the breakin period.... LOL....
