Day one and Keys Mercedes [dealership] says they can't hear the noise even though I recorded it while waiting to see the service advisor.
The service advisor said the recording didn't matter.... I just contacted Mercedes USA and opened up a warrantee claim report..
Now let's see how long this will take..
Did you have somebody sit in the car with you so you could demonstrate the sound? It's important that they hear what you are complaining about, so they can address it.
That's your part of the job.

Went back yesterday and the service adviser could hear the sound change as he pressed against the wireless phone charger.
The interment annoying sound is not my job, so far I've done my part to point it out..

It sounds like you have. Sometimes that's the hardest part.
I always think that I'm part of the team that gets repairs done right. When I go to the Doctor, I make sure he knows where it hurts!
One of the problems with getting repairs done right the first time, is the Intermediary (Service Writer) between the owner and the Technician. If it's a noise, I won't drop off my car until they have heard it. And I always read and correct (if necessary) the description that will be sent to the tech. Some SA's appreciate it, some don't.

Good luck!
They heard it after I contacted Mercedes and now it's back at the dealership to hopefully get fixed today. It is coming from the wireless phone charger.
Ok so the noise was due to a faulty phone charger controller, it has been replaced... But I had to pay for it even though it was a factory defect and under warranty in order to have my car back before Christmas..
So now I'm out $817.06 because Mercedes Benz customer service flagged my car due to the fact that I called in order to have the car repaired under warranty weeks ago...
If I didn't pay for the repair on Friday of last week the car would have been at the dealership until Mercedes Benz customer care gets back to work after the holidays...
Contact customer service at MBUSA...I had an issue with a dealer charging me for a 'free' map upgrade...
They sent me a voucher for $500 to be used at MB dealer on service, parts and accessories...
Maybe you can get a full refund
It was Mercedes Benz customer service that dropped the ball since they were responsible for the warranty service to be performed but they went on vacation without giving the dealership the OK.
I'm hoping they step up and do the right thing after the 1st.
Ok Mercedes Benz decided to reimburse me the $817.06 the dealership charged me to replace the wireless phone charger after pointing out the BS excuse the dealership gave of my throttle peddle booster being installed voided my warranty..
Give a mention of the Magnuson Moss Act and basic logic of how things work..
Now my car is flagged because of this BS but if my throttle peddle fails I'll just remove the booster and it's bone stock once again with the OEM warranty covering the throttle peddle..
Here's a tip....NEVER TIP YOUR SERVICE WRITER..a total wast of money..
This was the condition of my GLE when the dealership [Keys Mercedes] decided they would not complete the work under warranty and would only complete the job if I paid outta pocket for the repair...$817.06

I'm just amazed they don't cover the seats. My dealership covers both seats before they drive it out of the service lane at drop off.
So your concern is they don't cover the seats ? Nothing about holding my car for ransom and denying a warranty repair ?
Well both, but the ransom is already the subject and has been discussed. The seats indicate they don't respect or understand this level of customer, or their property. I would be fuming. This is just bad business. For what you paid, they should take better care of your vehicle and you. If you get your car back and the seats or steering wheel are dirty or scuffed, then we have a whole new thread started here.
