This seems a little sketchy. Why would one buy one of these contracts at those prices rather than a contract from the dealership? I am getting a 23 GLE53 and trading my 22 GLE450 because of a defect. I am leveraging a deal on a new car warranty in addition to cash incentive. Does Mercedes even honor these Fidelity contracts? No details are given other than term and price.

Sketchy? There are a number of reasons someone would choose the coverage above; length of coverage, cost of coverage, flexibility of repair facility, vehicles eligible for coverage... Yes, Mercedes-Benz North America dealerships accept Fidelity's coverage payouts, and there are many Mercedes stores across the country that sell the exact same Fidelity contracts. We had a customer less than a month ago have his entire AMG GTS transmission replaced at his Mercedes-Benz dealer, never even spoke to Fidelity, Fidelity took care of everything with the service department.

Further details are provided at the email and phone number at the top of the original post.... this was just a post to get the conversation started, this is not the only information available on the warranties listed above.

Well, there are many scams in this day and I don't expect this forum could be immune to them. How many calls or mailings does one receive from "dealer services" about warranties? I get them. I sent an inquiry via email about my particular car this morning. Sorry, but scams can make one a skeptic. I am waiting to hear back with information to compare with my dealership's contracts. Thanks.
