License plate Holes resolution
So my GLE i got had a plate drilled in the front & i want to remove the plate but the holes are to obvious, i want to hear if anyone went through this & has an knows the best way to fix them. Not trying to buy a whole new bumper either, unless i really have too.

Bumper plugs...Google it. Painted to match your paint color... it's way cheaper that bodywork and paint. But still noticeable

My front plate holder wasn't installed, but I found that the mounting holes were pre-drilled, recessed and out of sight.
It's huge and awkward looking, so I went to the parts department to see if there was a more minimalist version.
It turns out that there are several for 167s, depending on styling package. They laid them out on the counter and we held them up to various models.
None seemed to require drilling, although I wasn't specifically looking for that.
My question would be - was any drilling required for a Factory plate holder? Did they just mount one of their advertising holders, disregarding the real mounting points?
If so, I think they owe you a new bumper.

Also I buffed out and polished the paint behind the front plate a bit as I had the plate on since 2014 and I added the plugs in 2019... it all came out great
