Proud new owner of a 2016 GLE63s AMG 😁

Hey everyone, I just purchased a 2016 GLE63s AMG last night and it is amazing! It's only got 54k miles and always serviced by MB. I have a few things though that I can't figure out and thought maybe someone here might be able to help.

This particular GLE has a wrap on it, it was originally Iridium Silver but it's been wrapped in a satin white pearl. The bad thing is, the last owner OR while it was sitting on the dealer lot, left it out to the elements so it has a slight dirty haze to it. It's almost like a slight dirt film you could say? What should I use to get that off?

How can I tell if my GLE63 is an S line or not? The badges have been removed so I'm not sure. The paperwork says it is but how can I tell?

How does one connect Spotify to the Bluetooth? I can connect the phone for calls and such but I can't play my music at all?

Does the GLE have dynamic seats? I can't find the settings anywhere unless my car didn't come with it.

How do I get the car to start in sport+ every time? I set it to sport+ but when I turn off the car and restart, it's back to comfort mode. Is there a way to change this?

I can't think of anything else at the moment but if I think of something else I'll make sure to ask.

Thank You all

Look under the hood, "S" cars have carbon fiber engine cover.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ECU dyno tune; EDOK TCU tune; BB intakes; sprintbooster
Only coding/tune can have you start out in S+ everytime ... just hit the amg button after you start the car and you're set

congrats and enjoy in good health

So yeah the carbon fiber engine cover is what I was thinking too since the performance package ML's have those but mine doesn't BUT when I checked the VIN it says it is an S. Does this mean mine either didn't come with it OR it was an option available? Does the S mean I have more power too like the PP gave the MLs?

Oh ok so there's no way of changing the start to Sport+ without a tune. Even in the digital manual?

That stinks but turning the knob isnt that hard when I start the car. Just thought there was a way to get it that way everytime with just starting the car.

Is there a way to deactivate the auto start/stop feature?

Carbon fiber is standard, but it could have been removed and replaced by a non-carbon fiber cover. What color are your calipers? If Red then it is "S", if Silver - then not "S". Yes, "S" in GLE is the same as "PP" in ML. Also, if your car has Alcatara steering wheel, then it is an "S". (Having said all above, Alcatara steering can be in stalled in non-S car and so are the Red calipers). Also "S" was available only with 21" wheels standard, but 20" were standard and available only on non-S. But like anything else, all could have been replaced/upgraded, so VIN decoding is the only sure thing.

Awesome. The badges were removed from mine except the AMG badge and the V8 Biturbo so that's why I was asking. I do have Red calipers, the 21" rims and the Alcatara steering wheel but like you said those could have been added BUT I did run the VIN and it's an S haha. I'm super stoked and absolutely love the car. Driving in Sport+ gives that mean exhaust note with all the cracks and pops you could ever want.

Curious about experience so far?

I’m looking at a black on white 2016 gle63s right now with 44k miles. Curious of your experience with it so far as driving dynamics, maintenance, etc.

Hi... I've had my 2019 for only a few months so I can't say much about maintenance costs but...
I get a big smile every time from just hitting the start button! Driving it is crazy fun and I honestly feel privileged to own it.
The handling is impressive for a large vehicle and it's as comfortable as I want it to be. (Can you tell I like it a lot, LOL)!

No joke. Aside from the plowing under when you push it too hard into a corner (which is to be expected), that .95G on the skidpad really does feel believable a lot of the time.

To use your cell phone audio apps use the "MEDIA" button while connected to Bluetooth.
