This should help. Just got my new C63 done and my installer has the plotter that cuts around it so you don't have to take it off. You can't even notice it except on this extreme close up I took. That's the way to go I think from now on. I'll go back now and get the fenders done on my GLE since I passed because I didn't want to deal with the emblems.
Also, Max does your key for your GLE have the raised Affalterbach crest on the backside or is it plain gloss black? Mine was gloss black and I had the dealer get me the raised backs as I've never had a 63 that didn't have them.
My key has the AMG front and the smooth back with no crest. I ordered a replacement back with the AMG crest, but I couldn’t get it to fit on the key. It seems like the dimensions of the cover with the AMG logo is just a tiny bit off. Please let me know if yours fits- I would love to have the crest on the back!

Top key with black surround is for my 2022 GLE. Bottom key with chrome surround is for my 2023 C63. For some reason the 2023 has a hump in the cover plus an indentation on the key to accommodate it. You need to go back and order the one that fits the gloss black key.

I'm sorry to revive this but this is not a 1" one inch tape, this looks like 2" inch tape?
