12 Volt Socket Front
All my previous GLE450's had a 12 volt socket in the front next to phone charger. I see the AMG63 has it as well. Anyone know why it's not in the AMG53?

Not sure of your model year, but my 22 GLE 53 has it. There's a black spring loaded flap that covers it.

yeah that’s how my 450’s were. Not on my 2024 amg53

Owners manual is the the same for all the GLE450's. There is a AMG supplement..Manual shows it but says equipment may vary.

Hey there unless you have a defective car, which I hope you do not, its in the ashtray (covered by a spring flap) I too overlooked it for weeks I don't smoke, but use it for a tire air pump

Gonna check next time I go out...I thought I really checked but perhaps I'm missing it. If there I'll be annoyed as I bought a $45 part to convert my Radar Dector from 12volt to USB :-)

OK..now that is funny facing the dash on the right side of the ashtray, is the socket It blends it like crazy, as mentioned, I thought for weeks I did not have it either (and paid $10 on Amazon to buy a 20 foot 12 volt "extension cord" so that I could use the 12 volt socket that its in the trunk

yep. I had 3 Gle350’s. 2020, 2021 and a 2023 all like yours. This is my first AMG

they are usb c ports with a to c adapter.

Hmmm I never use that charging tray, as it seems to just take forever that said, I use the charge socket weekly for vacuum and tire pressure its odd that they would just have done away with it Also, has the OP checked the glove box? Maybe they relocated it there anyway, at least you found a solution and the mystery is solved!

Not in Glove Box that I could see. I do have one in the cargo area. They usually have the two.

not heated or cooked but yes same prong system with the button.

My 2021 GLE 63S has 2 USB-C ports and a 12VDC socket - that's covered by a flap - located just a hair to their right that are all located just in front of the right cupholder.

BTW, I bought a USB-C to 12VDC converter from eBay for about $6.00. It works my radar detector with no problems. Bought it because when I'm renting an electric vehicle, none of them that I've seen so far have a 12VDC socket.

Yes mine are both heated and chilled cupholders never seen that before i LOVE it, especially when to keep coffee warm on way to work in the morning they work like a charm

Yes Manual is for GLE with AMG supplement. Shows if I have one it will be in the front as I've always had.

Took delivery of a 2024 GLE 580 built in April and can confirm it too does not have the 12 volt up front. It's exactly like the GLE AMG53 also built in April. Evidently this is the new way they are doing it.
