Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel
Purchased a 2025 GLE 63s and would like to put in a carbon fiber/Alcanterra steering wheel.
Are there any aftermarket options that matched the carbon fiber dash available?

Yes but youll have to sacrifice the use of your touch sensors on the wheel (will need to be turned off in your settings)

i can make a wheel in this format where you’d transfer your buttons (drive unit if applicable) airbag ect ect
the wheel pictured I have available, it was built for a client who decided to go with a different build spec all together. Selling for $750 if you’re interested in this one. One of those one off build specs that’s so specific. But it’s a nice display piece

yes you can transfer all internals over. But again the touch function doesn’t transfer as it’s a built into the physical oem wheel. Mercedes doesn’t sell it as parts to install yourself unfortunately. Not yet at least

Can you help me understand this? There are videos showing aftermarket options that the touch sensors do work on vehicles that didn't have the option to begin with.It's (the Carbon Fiber version) also an option from Mercedes. But when I tried to order from the Dealership they say that CF is not an option for my car (GLE 63s).
not sure where you are seeing touch functionality on aftermarket wheels. Never seen anyone accomplish that. Mercedes dealerships generally don’t make their own carbon products. They outsource. They have a handful of things they do make in house but steering wheels is not one of them.

you can always add options that your car didn’t come with if your wallet is deep enough. Some cars have the module installed from the factory but needs to be unlocked in star.

The Carbon Fiber steering wheel os a $400 option on the Mercedes build page.

the buttons on the new wheel have touch pads to cycle between menus. But the oem wheel also has touch sensors inside the wheel for lane keep assist features. This is what isn’t transferred over.

Thank you, now it makes sense. Is it possible to remove the OEM wheel and send it to you to have the work done? If so, what is the turnaround for that?

our empty cores are $1000
we have a perforated leather with red stitching red ring in stock
And Alcantara with black stitching no ring in stock as well
otherwise can build a new one
From time of purchase wait time is 3-4 weeks
