The BBB has it as a B rating and all of the reviews are 1 star.
The Consumer Affairs website has it as 1 star.
Just to name 2. I am not saying the warranty isn't great. I am just reporting what I read. Hopefully people will chime in.

do a search and read the stickies on w213 amg and w212 amg subsections

The main issue from a consumers standpoint is that a warranty item they thought would be covered, is not covered in full but maybe partly or not at all. This generally comes from the consumers misinterpretation of the contract they have signed. There are VERY different levels of coverage and the contracts state exactly what is, or exactly what's not covered. there's not a lot of interpretation.
Where I ran into an issue once was with a company that wrote too many policies, went into a "bankruptcy state" because the liabilities were too great, and the executors of the bank stopped paying for repairs for a period of time. It was something like 70m of policies with 10m on hand. The company was pretty good before that time to deal with, but had bad back end financials and they disappeared soon after, I think by being bought by another company.
So, when choosing a warranty, its not only important to read the contract and ask very specific questions, but also choose a company that is affiliated with as big a company as possible. Fidelity is sold at Mercedes dealerships, and the company pays Mercedes rates for Mercedes parts. If you have a covered issue, its as good as a new car warranty. A good dealer or indy with a Fidelity relationship makes it all go smooth but if you go to a non familiar mechanic that won't help you through the process, it becomes harder to accomplish yourself.
Talk to Trenton, the guy answering above. If you have questions, this is where employing people vs AI or an App is extremely beneficial. And im not speaking for him, but he will also be willing to help you down the line in further understanding coverage.
Lastly, you cannot expect to never maintain a car and then have warranty fix the problems. You have to maintain the car. There are rules to follow, and limits to be aware of. Some people are shocked that the warranty will not buy a 50k engine for a 10k car...but its written right in the contract.

I have always had Fidelity on my cars and actually prefer Fidelity over any CPO program
