Hello
Do most people renew the Mercedes Digital Extra like remote start and vehicle tracking after the initial year complimentary period? Any advice appreciated as I’m leaning towards renewing them.

I pay the ransom. I like to check to see if I remembered to lock up, i use remote start in the winter and the navigation has some value, though waze works alot better. Other nice to have features makes it worth the small fee. It will track the car if stolen and deliver a non paralyzing shock to the driver. If it was over 250 I would reconsider.

Porsche wanted like $219 yr. for their basic weak sauce Connect service for my Macan GTS, and doesn't even give you remote start or the ability to unlock the doors remotely.
$150 per yr. is not too bad if you can actually do a bunch of stuff....

Well bmw offers it on the keyfob but porsche isn't known to have remote start and will nickle and dime you, remote start is available on the Taycan I guess.
