Hi asap29,

Using this calculator http://www.edmunds.com/apps/calc/Cal...ion=basic_calc and plugging in your values, the total loan amount only sums up 36,335 @ $802.64. Of course I calculated this based on my states fees and sales tax values. This also has not accounted for the first 2 months that MB will pay for you.

I had to edit my response as I forgot to add the destination charge of $875 which puts the total a little over $200 less than what was quoted you. If they are indeed paying for the first 2 months, I'd say that's not a bad deal.

Check out the link first so you'd get a better idea.

I forgot to mention about the down payment which is $7500...i am availing the loan for only $30,000...I guess now everything should add up to a monthly payment of approx $650(monthly).

Here are my options:
4Matic, PP1, Lighting Package, RES, Multimedia, iPod interface, Metallic Steel Grey and was ordered in July. The MSRP was 47885.

Here is the calculation of my final monthly lease amount. Again, since I leased my car, the calculations are different but you can see the difference:
MSRP 47,885.00
Negotiated Price 43,971.50
Destination Charge 875.00
Lease Term 36.00
State Lease Tax 9.00

Residual Value 24,900.20
Total Depreciation 19,071.30
Monthly Depreciation 529.76
Money Factor Payment 137.74
Pre-tax Monthly Payment 667.50
Final Monthly Payment (with tax) $727.58

Yes you can negotiate it down but use the calculator as your guide. If you feel putting that much money down is more affordable for you than paying a higher monthly with no money upfront, then, go for it.

And since you are buying your car it seems, ask your bank if you they have better rates for you. Again, call other dealerships for more quotes.

If there's anything else I can help you with, pm me.

Purchase price of a glk

I paid invoice price + $100 here in Las Vegas, NV. Interest rate of 1.9% for 24 or 36 months. Waited for 3 months, 'coz they could'nt find the options that I wanted. Finally got it, and it was worth the wait.

We just picked up a GLK with 4matic, PP, Multimedia, Heated Seats, Keyless-Go, iPod interface, and trailer hitch (MSRP $46,685 including destination, $43,479 invoice). Sale price was $41,500+$272 dealer fee+$125 RMV fee+$2593.75 mass tax for a total of $44,490.75. Financed with 2.9% for 66 months and first two months payments waived by MB Financial.

Thanks to everyone for posting their deals. It really helped us find a good deal!

This weekend my GF and I snagged a black/black (MB Tex) 4matic at HBL in Tysons with P01 package (with panorama sunroof, seat memory, auto dimming mirrors, etc), heated seats, and iPod adapter for $36500. Sticker price was $41076. The dealership and our salesman were a pleasure to deal with.

Good deal!!

Man... those prices in the States make me want to

You can barely buy a decent Ford in Canada for that price!!!

Hmmm... Maybe next year when I trade my mountain bike for a 4,000sf house in Phoenix, I will have to go car shopping in Arizona!

I bought my car on Nov 6, 2009.
It is a base model, RWD, with two minor options. Metallic paint (Barolo Red) and the iPod integration kit.
It listed for $36.570. This includes destination charge.

I paid $34,420 cash. Plus of course, various state fees and State sales tax. Out the door $37000 which was my bargaining point. How they got there wasn't my concern.

The Dealer Invoice for my car was $34,672

That means that I bought if for $252 below invoice.

If you go to http://truecar.com/index.html
You can check my deal (or other deals as reported here....some of which are obvious BS)
You will see that I made better than a good deal and just short of a great deal (Their labels).
I was satisfied in that the negotiations took well less than an hour.
Someone willing to bust their chops for hours could probably have done a bit better.

I was very satisfied with the deal, my dealer and my salesman.

May NOT be as bad as you think.

I got my GLK with 70% loaded options MSRPs at $50,000CAD. Dealer gave $2k discount, makes it $48k, times 0.95 for USD thats $45,600 USD. This same car in US invoices at $43,900, averages $45,300 and MSRPs at $46,500. So its about $2k difference as most people in US pay invoice prices.

The real difference clicks in from my $48,000 CAD run all the way to out of door $57,000+ CAD adding Freight/PDI and Canadian tax....

Amazing...

Well, the only bad thing with that is everyone is gonna have one... like an effin Golf or Civic (trust... I had both).

Here in Canada, you still need a job to be driving an entry level Benz.

New GLK

Hopefully will be taking delivery of my new GLK this weekend. Here's the rundown:

Black
4Matic
6-CD Changer
Heated Seats
Parktronic
Brushed Alum. Running Boards

MSRP is $39,435.
We're paying $35,664 at 2.9% fin. and credit for first two payments.

I think this is a good deal, but this is my first new MB, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. We are trading in an 06 ML-350, which I like but was a little big for our needs.

Got them to throw in the rubber floormats to seal the deal.

Yeah, I see that but it also looks like there is a third chrome strip under the star in your avatar... must just be a reflection.

Without any negotiation I was told I could order any GLK for $600 under invoice. He told me to go to Edmunds and build what I want and then he would knock off $600 from the invoice price. Now dealers don't usually do that and I don't know the sales manager so I figured there must be some sort of kickback from the manufacturer. Does anyone know of any rebates or incentives that I can't find? I just want to make sure there isn't a better deal going on.
