GLK 350 AWD Steel Grey/Black Interior (3/18/09); E63AMG (5/5/2011)
I have the US version. There's an option under settings/instrument cluster/Permanent Display/Display Unit.
I can change it to either display the temperature or Speed-/Odometer to km. I've attached a picture.
Does the Canadian GLK have something similar?

Observation: Canadian GLK's have the metric dashboard and by default the digital display shows your speed in km/hr and odometer in kms, fuel economy in litres/100 etc. Circling your digital display/speedometer you have the chrome ring with km/hr stamped on it. OK that's fine. Now let's say you want to take a drive down to Florida in your new wheels...
The display settings will allow you to change your odometer from kms to miles. It will also show your fuel economy expressed in mpg. But your current speed remains shown in km/hr... I have yet to find a way to have the digital display show my current speed in mph.
Hopefully someone out there with a metric dash will tell me I'm wrong and you can in fact have your speed shown in mph!

have the packages changed here in Canada?
The website now shows LED lights and Bi-Xenon as part of a package ... they've also revised the Sport package to show only the Sport rims, removing the roof rails that we all know don't exist anymore.
Amy I mistaken or is this lighting stuff new?

I think they just updated info for lighting package. Yes, you are right about Sport package only contains rim. I don't know if the Aluminum rail not existing. It's strange that you can still select it as exterior option for $750. Well, sounds like you have to pay $1550 for the feature previously cost $800.

I honestly think all the xenon lights went to Canada and Alumin rails went to America.
I can't find a car with lighting pkg unless I order them or atleast in a color I want... but 20" wheels and alumni rails are everywhere.

Just got my GLK today
Hi all,
I'm new to these forums. Just picked up my GLK today. Bonamite Silver, with xenon package, sports package, navigation package, premium package and running boards.
I've only driven it 100km, but loving it so far.

aabc, you are right. No more Aluminum rail now. Fish, yes I am 2 month late for that, but also they didn't have folding mirror 2 month earlier. I guess its a fair trade-off.
Anyone knows if the black rail are plastic or aluminum with black coating?

2020 CLA 250 4Matic Black
Nice pics grifter99, I was looking at that colour if I was going to place the order to Germany, my saleman told me that its a unique colour to the GLK so I was interested in what it looked like.
At to the roof rails, they are some sort of high density plastic, seems very dense/heavy to the touch. I wonder if they would consider painting them in a bright silver metalic paint?
