Newbie hello and a few questions...
Currently ive got a BMW 3 series and a Lexus RX, but i have owned a 98 E320 before.
Anyways, I am looking to replace the Rx as it is a 1999 model.
From the commercials and my local car show, i think the GLK is pretty nice fit.
However ive got a few questions for those of you who have/know it well.
1.At the Auto show, power was disconnected so i couldnt adjust the seats, i am 6'2 and wife(main driver) is around 5'9. How would the rear comfort be? At the auto show, the seat was all the way to the back(rep told me) and i had trouble getting in.
2.Would it be easy to find one with limited options? Honestly some of the stuff doesnt really appeal to me such as GPS,power liftgate, and compass in mirror. GLK seems pretty good with the standard stuff anyways.
3. Hows the pricing look right now? Would i be looking at paying MSRP? I am not really in a huge hurry so i can wait a bit.
I am looking at a black or white with almond MBtex and wood with options being Heated seats and lighting package.

1. If you keep the seat back fairly upright, there should be sufficient room behind you when driving for most adults to sit pretty comfortably. There will be plenty of room in that rear seat when your wife is driving.
2. There are some GLKs being ordered with limited options to keep that particular GLK at a certain price level. Have your local dealer do a search for you.
3. Pricing is good at this time. You should be able to get a decent discount off of MSRP, and IF you hurry, there is a MB $2,000 cash incentive on the GLK thru' feb 28th.

I just got one last Friday and we asked about the $2000 cash incenetive and there was no such thing offered. The dealer said he hadn't heard of that. We got ours at Downtown LA Motors in Los Angeles, don't know if that makes a difference. But we did get a price at just above invoice. Not sure exactly what since my husband was dealing with all that. It may have been invoice plus $1000 or something like that.
anyways, i seem to be having some trouble finding some limited option ones. Most of the ones i see have the Prem pack 1 which is $3K of what i mostly dont need.
I hear that most dealers have access to huge inventory at ports....true? I guess i would have to contact the dealer.
