My GLK does not have the power tailgate option and came with the 2-button key. But, having a 3-button key would be desireable even for the non-power tailgate. Does anyone have the 3-button key together with the non-power tailgate?

[quote=NYCGLK;3592686]ehh I don't know who pays attention to front blinkers, I think rear ones and side ones are usually the key ones.

As a motorcyclist also, I pay a LOT of attention to front blinkers to know the intentions of drivers coming at me.

Thx Baby G, That works only if you are very close to the drivers side of the vehicle. Know any other way that vent can be activated...like say from the inside...Also is there a way to close all windows and sunroof from inside without individually closing them?
Thx.

i was talking about tunnel mode. On EU cars if you press and hold the "re-circulation" button windows and sunroof will close.

When a/c fan is on Max and you push the voice command bottom on steering wheel. the fan will automatically reduce a notch to lower the noise when you are talking. Now that's true engineering.

Thumbs up Voice control for those with media interface

Best voice controls:

media interface (iPod)
memory card (PCMCIA)
music register (6G hard drive)

They bring me to the correct source saving me the clicks on the audio screen.

If your windows fog up, just set climate control to the desired temp level and air will get drier without raising the temperature.

Found this from Tate (https://mbworld.org/forums/3572278-post10.html)

You can tilt down mirror in R for Canadian model (I guess in all trims). Here is how:

- Set gear to R
- Enable the right side mirror button
- Set the mirror to the position you want
- Set gear to P or D
- Mirror will go back to normal position in a few sec

Now you have saved the mirror position in R. Shift gear to R again and it will tilt down and you will see the right side mirror button enabled.

****************
My GLK is Oct 09 production and it works. The only thing I need to do differently is press the Right mirror button while in R (once everything is setup) and then it will tilt the mirror. If I don't have the right mirror button pressed, it won't.

Actually, it's not a code, it's a setting.

you can have this setting changed to a very high number, say 100mph, at the SSSS. so that you can watch your movie when you are below 100mph. (not recommended)

Things I did not know about the GLK #1
Everytime you start your GLK it keeps a log of how long you had it in operation and fuel consumption along with average speed. For some of us Techaholics, its just icing :-)

Is that information retrievable by us, or just by the dealer?
My wife's BMW has that information right on the dashboard so we can track fuel mileage as we drive. Is that also the case on the GLK?

Just scroll through trip info on MFD. It shows trip info since start of the current trip, trip info since reset, and also has another mile counter, also there is mpg bar indicator and speedo showing in digits. I'd play around other menus there are a lot of interesting things.
