I bet that may be true for the initial release but I'm not sure. Put me in for one of those with it.

I think so. I feel this is a marketing trick to be able to say starting at xxxx price. Just like Lexus that has starting price which is immposible to find.

I think features from the PP should be standard as well as xenons.

The sales person kept persuading me to get the premium pkg, but I just find it a bit useless and pricey, so I didnt get it eventually

Yea I think it's not worth it if you don't care about sunroof.

In my case, I love the sunrood. I need the memory seats/mirrors/steering, as car will be shared with my better half. I also find power tailgate neat feature. So I'm sucker for the PP.

Congrats on your GLK. The good thing about MB is that they dont distinguish the models like other manufacturers who add letters like LX EX ES etc. The badging is identical well until Bluetec or AMG :-) comes along.

I thought that was kind of strange with our Lexus RX's. There was no separate badging for our AWD versions. At least, 4Matic is badged on our GLK's boot.
