GLK 350
I dont believe it will be available as a add on. On most car to add navi after production is nearly impossible not to mention warranty on electrical components. To rewire and change electrical interface will be $$$. On the otherhand I know two people who did it themselves on a a Acura 3.2 CL-S.

You can add Navi, just not the 7" screen. There is an option called the UMI. Universal Media Interface. You keep your original screen and they integrate Nav. It also gives you an Ipod hookup and you get real time traffic at no charge.

I have the UMI and the traffic alert works great.
- The NAV is also fully integrated with the DASH.
- The cool feature that I like on the NAV is the LANE Advisor.
I just got it for $1,200 as an option when I got the GLK last April. After delivery, I believe you can have it installed at around $1,900.

I am also thinking about getting UMI because of the free traffic integration with NAV. Have you tried the A2DP Bluetooth functionality?
Which allows audio(music) streaming wirelessly from the MP3 memory of a mobile phone.

I have used the USB,IPOD, and the AUX in the UMI. No I have not used the Audio Steaming yet.
One thing with the UMI, it seems the original AUX is the globe box is disabled. But the one in the UMI works.
Also, the UMI NAV/GPS I notice that it has selective text-to-speech.
--> It will say "Turn Left on I-5" where it says I and 5 clearly.
--> But if the street is not HIghway or No numbers, it will just say "Turn Left"
