Lip and Apron
Anyone out there already has the factory Front Spoiler Lip and Diffuser-look rear apron trim installed ?

The Aero option package contains these plus the rear spoiler above the tailgate. The brochure and web site show a picture of the rear spoiler that is IDENTICAL to the one that I have seen on every single GLK I have looked at. The dealer said he was baffled too as to the difference. The "stock" one looks nice. My worry would be that anything bigger or more aggressive looking would look too ricey.
Does anyone a photo of the one that comes in the aero package?

Same here - I bought the front lip and diffuser but not the rear spoiler.
The dealer wanted about $350 to paint these, and about $300 to install. I said no thanks as I have a good body shop that will do it much cheaper.
How do these mount? Are there studs on the new pieces, and holes to be drilled on the bumpers/caps?

Just picked up the parts from painting. Did cost me $350.00 Canadian(tax included). Installation was not difficult. Had some spare time and did it myself. Backside of kit comes with sticky foam tape. Very sticky!! So make sure you have the right location before applying, or you won't be able to move it once stuck. Prep with rubbing alcohol on existing bumper helps. Kit comes with screws, spacers and clips. No instructions. Played around with the parts first to get the hang of it before finalizing the installation. Took me about three hours to do it. Should be much quicker, but I was trying to be a perfectionist! Here are some after-photos. I like the rear apron best. The front lip is more subtle, which is fine too. Overall, no regrets.

MBWorld Fanatic!
This reminds me of our old toyota matrix, it had a similar set and it made huge difference in how car looked.
On GLK IMO, it does not look any better. If I saw this on the road I prolly would not even notice this aero package.
Looks like a good install, let's just hope the sticky tape won't be like one used for fog surrounds.

You had a problem with the Fog surrounds?
I did. Had to go buy some 3M and redo the mounting.
Called dealerfit and told them. They didn't care. Wouldn't send me any tape.
In my instance, the tape was not applied properly at the factory on the surround side of the tape..
My surrounds came loose, leaving the part I had done stuck on the car.
Had to use a heat gun to get it off.
