Canada - MB Lease Rates for July - 9.65%!?

So I was scanning the MB Canada website (http://www.mercedes-benz.ca) in order to see the promotions that are being offered for July.

To my surprise and shock, the lease rates on the GLK are posted @ 9.65%!!! This is almost double what it was for June (5.9%). I started checking the other models, B-class, C-class etc and those were also listed at 9.65%.

Something may be wrong here but I am not sure For those of you taking delivery this month (in Canada), are you aware and have you discussed this with your local dealer yet?

Yeah I saw that as well.

When you go through the Configurator to price out the model you want, MB is quoting a 9.65% lease rate...this is where the confusion is coming in...

Just had an email exchange with my dealer, he says it "appears" to be a typo and it's still @ 5.9% over 36 months. Let me know what info you get from your dealer...

Tell me about it. I was kind of pissed at the whole "...we cannot lock in your rate until you take delivery..." poicy MB has. It would be much more customer friendly if MB locked you in when you sign the deal, *and*, if the rates go down you would be entitled to the lower rate...wonder if it's the same with our US friends...

Confirmed that its 5.9%, there is no way, I would rather ask for my deposit back and refuse delivery at 9.65%.

Looks like the Configurator on the MB Canada website is fixed now as well, it is showing a lease rate of 5.9% for 36 months (again).

It also looks like the security deposit requirements may have been lowered as well, $500 now. Not sure if this is a standard fixed rate or whether it may be dependant on the amount of deposit.
