Well, I ordered my GLK, it was done being built 7/1/09. Now on the MBUSA.com site while building a GLK it states "Sirius Real-time Traffic." Somebody please tell me they got a GLK that was built 7/1/09 or after and it has the Traffic! I take the L.I.E. every day to commute into Manhattan and having real-time traffic would be a life-saver!

i bought my glk back in feb. so i don't have the sirius real-time traffic. but i do have it on my phone. i use the nav on my phone more than the nav in the glk. you can't enter a destination while the car is moving. safety first???

you can enter dest. by by voice when car is moving.

I doubt anybody here would really know? People are either in the same boat as you are (waiting for their GLK) or got one without traffic before they added the feature. You could ask your dealer he/she would more likely to know.
Have you used live traffic before in tri-state area? I feel like it's pointless cuz if there is traffic it's everywhere and unavoidable in most cases. Also you should know the alternate routes for your commute better than any navigation anyways.

well, I have an iphone and use my real-time traffic on that all the time, it actually does help me out. I guess it's one of those features that I don't ABSOLUTELY need, but still, annoying to buy a car and then it changes 2 weeks after! I bought a new car so I could be on the cutting edge, I'm already old and tired! In any case, car is coming on Thursday I'll keep you all updated

cutting edge? i hear ya!! the glk come out in february and there are neighborhoods around houston that are 1 year old and can't be found in the nav? it makes house shopping a *****!

wow you guys should lower the expectations a bit.
MB is not cutting edge technology unless we are talking about S class. You should check out Lexus or Infiniti for that.
GLK is more of proven technology (5 year old engine, 4 year old tranny, the rest of the features have been around just as long)
Also, even most current navis are not that uptodate, they don't update maps everytime new Starbucks opens (every 3-5 years is my guess). However, on a side note Navi shows roads in some cemeteries...you know in case you get lost haha
