Fuel types available in the GLK
So when we were getting the walk through on our new GLK on Sunday, the sales guy said we could use E85.
I have not seen this posted anywhere, and did not see it in the manual.
Has anyone actually done this, and if so what were the results like? How badly did the mileage drop?

Only gas, and only super/ premium over 91 octane, as with every other MB 350 engines on MLs, GLs, Cs and Ss.

Seriously?! If this is the case, this is bunch of crap. The fact that we could use E85 was one of the selling points for us albeit a minor one, but still.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I think C300 can use both fuels, but not sure about GLK's 350 engine.
EDIT: Just checked MBUSA, C300 RWD has dual function. C350 or GLK require premium.

Flex Fuel
In order to use E85 your gas cap would be coded yellow. Please see the following link. Only certain C300's can use it. NEVER IN A 350 Engine...
