Correct Tire Pressure
I just got a message that says "Correct Tire Pressure". Does it mean it's correct or does it mean I need to correct it? Thanks , Frank

correct tire pressure
I found my answer:
"Correct Tire Pressure"
The tire inflation pressure is too low in at least one tire.
or
The tire inflation pressures of the individual tires differ from
each other significantly.
The tire inflation pressure values are shown in the
multifunction display.
X Check and correct tire inflation pressure as required
(Y page 221).
X Restart the Advanced TMPS (Y page 226).

Must be full moon. I also got a low pressure warning. Checking with warm tires gave me 32.5, 33, 33.5, and 34. Is there no gas station with free air these days? I really object to paying a dollar to top up my tires.
I intend to balance all 4 to 34 psi since I figure by the time I get to a gas station the tires will have warmed up a bit. Recommended for normal load is 33 psi all around for cold tires with up to +4 for hot tires.

Last, reset the TPMS per pp. 226 of the Owner's Manual.

Just checked my pressure
My tires were about the same as Andys. It wasn't off by more than a pound on any tire. I just now evened them all out at 33 all around. The warning only came on last night when I pulled into my garage. It was ok this morning.

So seems that TPMS is pretty sensitive, I wonder if it goes off when cooler temps in winter come, and tire pressure decreases. I thought I read it doesn't work in winter, but I could have read it in my dream.

Use the electric pump provided with the GLK to inflate the spare. Let the vehicle sit overnight then use a quality gauge to set the pressures on all four before the morning sun has a chance to start warming up any of the tires.

I do have a standalone electric pump but it makes so much noise and takes a long time.

Remember all to reset your tire pressure baseline once you put air in you tires or it will never know new pressure starting point is. This is done via service menu options on the dash.

the last 2 weeks i have also been getting the "correct tire pressure", when i turn the car off and i thought the TPMS was telling me the pressure was "CORRECT". with all the rain houston got today, i tried to avoid a huge puddle and must of hit a offset is the road......BANG!!! i thought i killed my 22's. 5 minutes later the "low tire pressure" warning came on. i pulled over and checked all the wheels and they seemed fine? i'm guessing i was low in a tire and hitting the rough road maybe caused a bit of air to squeeze out tripping the warning?

I switched over from my summer tires/wheels to my Pirelli snow tires on 17" rims and decided to test out the Canadian "Run Flat Indicator"...indirect method using the change in rotational speed due to low tire pressure.
The USA system is superior because it uses direct pressure measurement from each tire. FYI...FMVSS 138 is the law in the USA. Canada has no similar CMVSS therefore the cheap system.
Anyhow, I set the tire pressures to 33 psi, reset the system, drove a short distance for "learning" and then kept dropping the pressure in one tire (left rear) and went for a short drive @ 60 km/h...
- 30 psi...no warning
- 26 psi...no warning
- 22 psi...no warning
- 20 psi...WARNING finally...the centre cluster went RED (Mars Attacks)
At least it works, although by the time it activated, 13 psi was lost.

Hey, don't you all have nitrogen in your tires from the factory? I was told by the service writer that if I had to put "air" in the tires I should come by the dealer and get the "air" replaced by nitrogen...what gives?

Damm that Mars attack looks so cool... I would love to be able to togle the background colour
Its interesting that even with individual tired sensors that you guys get in the USA they don't tell you which tire is at fault.
