What did your GLK replace?

Yeah! When I first bought the car the wheel alignment was all off and the steering wheel was off center. Then at 200 miles the steering shaft needed to be replaced and the rear seat belts were subject to a recall.
The car drove weird and the handling got worse as I added more miles. It just did not feel well put together and I finally sold it with 5000 miles while only averaging 19 mpg. My wife's Lexus hasn't been that great either!

coopdogg, how do you like the move from the C300? Similar in a way, different, anythi
BAPHA, I enjoyed the C300, but after one family road trip I realized I needed more room so I figured hey I can get that along with more power. I like the GLK ride better, but other than that both are essentially the same IMO.

dangerously rusted 1973 BMW 200tii AND pristine (but freshly dented in an accident, and therefore written off) 1989 Nissan Sentra.
So far, we have the oldest cars replaced by GLK.

2002 MB ML 320. Was nice in the snow but it kept causing small/annoying problems. For no reason the driver window was messed up, then AC let go then rear windshield wiper.
I like my cars working in top condition so I changed to something younger and sexier.

the other day I walked out on to my drive way to find the tail gate up. Now I can tell if I forgot to close it or it opened on its own accord?

97 Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Believe it or not, this car gave me absolutely no problems whatsoever. Through normal wear and tear, it now needs a new clutch, brakes, tires, etc. I didn't feel like spending a lot to fix an old car so I gave it to my little cousin. He's a rice racer wannabe so it worked out.

'99 Isuzu Trooper - Gov't. said it was a clunker, but I thought it was darn good except that it probably needed major auto trans work. I exchanged 15 mpg (EPA) for 18 mpg.

2007 Chevrolet Z71 Avalanche... never again will by a vehicle named after a natural disaster! My wife love her new ride.
