GLK 350 4Matic
Had a look at tirerack.com and saw the packages, but not any cheaper for us North of the Boarder than what we got once you factor taxes, duties and shipping. here is the run down on the featured package (lol the estimated availability date is Feb 16 2010 for the rims). You guys south of the boarder sure have things easier.

17X7.5 Sport Edition F9 Bright Silver Paint
02/16/10 4 $116.00 $464.00
235/60R17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS60
Blackwall In Stock 4 $112.00 $448.00
Shipping $240.74
Additional Fees and Taxes
Excise Tax: $0.00
GST: $51.22
PST: $99.36
Duty: $59.20
Provincial Tire Fee: $23.36
Brokerage Fee: $30.00
Grand Total (USD):

$1,415.88 or 1,512.24 (CAD)

GLK was my neighbors-- I drive a 3.0 CRD in Jeep's clothing
winter wheels and tires

Sorry about that--My neighbor in Colorado was fit to be tied. She couldn't find anything here outside of Denver (8500 ft elev.) or in Denver---other than the dealer quoting $2,500.00 for tires and a couple of month wait.
She is thrilled to be having them dellivered in 3 days.
I have no connection with anyone, just trying to help and if anyone can benifit -great if not--don't read it.

hope i didn't come off as being unappreciative. Keep in mind that this thread was for Canadians - specifically in the Greater Toronto Area. That said there are other GLK owners on this forum that are from the States and would be able to get the great deal.. unfortunately us Canadian get shafted by shipping and duties as you can see.

Didn't mean to come strong if I did, but it just didn't make sense since the thread clearly stated GTA - Canadian Prices, and your post was off base, and not meant to be in this section. I see you were trying to help others, but frankly wrong side of the border here...

2010 GLK
I just ordered a set of Blizzak WS60 235/60R17 tires and Sport Edition ST3 17x8 wheels from a local dealer and thru the Tirerack.
The total cost delivered with all taxes and duty included is $1,387.00 CDN.
That also includes a new set of lug bolts.
I will post pictures when I get them.
Cheers.

I have had couple of PM's asking if the packages were available and they still are. Just wanted to let everyone know the MB52 are sold out. You have the new rim available with any choice on the tires...

The following rim is the only choice. The package size is 235/60 R17 only. Here is the package on footmarks GLK, which he posted, which some of you may have missed.

GLK 350 Winter Tire Dilemma

Hi All, I have noticed a discrepancy between the offset here for the GLK350 and the rims in the package being offered by tirerack.com. I would like to buy but I am hesitant in case their specification is wrong and have to go through the cost and hassle of a return. The rims they promote have an offset of 35mm, not 47.5 as stated here. Can comeone confirm? Alternately, I am happy to buy in Ontario if I can get a good price, but finding it difficult. If someone can refer me to where you bought in the GTA, it would be most appreciated.

PM Sent... Mercedes themselves state in their 17" package the offset is 45.

2012 C350 2DR Coupe
Finally had the winters put on this past week. Sorry for the night time shots, will post some daytime pics soon.

I went with the Blizzak's in the 235-60-17 configuration.

I've had them on for a couple of days and only notice some noise from the tires when I take a corner a little hard, otherwise, so far so good...

I just ordered from tirerack.com. Great service, excellent price. Dropped to my door and all I had to do was have them installed.

I got from tirerack as well. Just cheap winter rims and tire package, although I'm kicking myself cause I missed out on the O.Z. that is greatly discounted.

Here's a few pics of the wheels and winter tires. Got them on Wednesday, Nov 25th and went straight to the Dealer for installing:

Bonus: the MB centre caps fit the Sport Edition ST3's perfectly. Looks like a set of OEM wheels.

And the summer set in storage:

Cheers.

That's a very good price and the wheels look good. I wonder where I can source these in BC.

Bought them from a local Auto Parts Supplier on a local car-enthusiast's forum Group-Buy thru the Tire Rack.

The total cost was $1,387.31 CDN ALL-IN. (delivery, $us exchange, mounted, balanced, hubcentric rings, wheel bolts, duty and all taxes included).

So far no snow but it's coming sooner or later.
