Is there a sticky or thread showing the specs on the wheels that will fit the GLK?
Wheel & Standard Tire Size:
17" x 7.5": 235/60-17
18" x 8.5": 235/55-18
19" x 8.5": 235/50-19
20" x 8.5": 235/45-20
ET: From what I can determine, it's 47.5mm. Is this the OEM ET for all size wheels?
Presume that higher ET's will fit with appropriate spacers.
And, less ET will poke slightly depending on difference. (2.5mm = 10th of an inch and so on).
Hub: 66.6mm
Lug pattern: 5 x 112mm.
Sorry if it's a newbie question but I want to build my own winter wheel / tire set up and I need to be able to ask the right questions.
I have filled in what I believe to be correct?
Cheers.

I hope you cam up with wheel and tires --the OE are like $2,500 for just tires. Please let me know what you found as a good wheel replacement

Has about a dozen 17" wheels to fit and then can mount Blizzacks

Tell him Jim Thompson sent you
I believe stock 19's are 19x7.5 not 19x8.5, I def. remember there is an inch difference in width between 19 and 20. Offsets for 19 and 20 are different, because of different width of the rim.

wheels 17 inch
My neighbor has the wheel and nuts and covers sitting in her garage in Evergreen Colorado. She sold the car but I told her to put the orginal wheels on before she sold it. Just give a reasonable offer and they are yours. 303-594-1672 Jim-- I know they fit- she had blizzaks on and it was a huge difference.

The smallest that came up as a replacemnt for the GLK. The 17" fit for sure with still good room for calipers and rotors. Allowed a greater choice of tyres with a less out of pocket expensive and probably a better ride due to the greater volume of tyre. which is needed to keep the correct dia.
I want to put 255/40/20 on my stock 20's. Has anyone done this?
Diameter is basically the same and they end up being .75 inches wider.
My only concern is the rim only being 8.5 inches wide. - Thoughts?
No problem with the 255 40 20 setup. I have 265 40 20 Pirelli P-Zero on my rear & no rubbing problems at all. Won't even notice the difference in ride height.

Brabus show a staggered setup for the x204, running 255/40/20 on 8.5"x20" ET35 & 285/35/20 9.5"x20" ET45 height difference from front to rear with this setup is .1" rolling diameter or 0.4%
Has anyone tried the Brabus staggered setup? I'm thinking of going for this and adding the H&R lowering springs with the Bilstein B6 struts all at the same time. Brabus wheels and offset for x204.
