Yes.. it's bound for thr USA according to some blogs but it will cost more, not sure why. There are scattered trouble reports with some BTec's that are already available elsewhere on the planet.

According to this article, the 250 engine was created for US:

And I am sure I have read it somewhere that this engine will be available for the E and GLK for 2010. Following article doesn't confirm it but sorta mentioned it:

I will be surprised if this 250 engine does not make it to the C class as well. This little diesel engine is supposed to be good enough even for the S class!
