But the best part of the car is every time I drive it I get a grin ear to ear. With that said, the new Audi S4 is prob. a better car and if you wanted better bang for your buck, the 135 is $5000 less and handles like a go cart (though resale is not as good).
Thanks for the info.

Again, this is totally off topic...

M3 costs more than 400 bucks for an oil change. 335 can be chipped to M3
hp rating easily with factory warranty. With M sport package...other than the hood, the front fender and the exhaust...it's more or less looks like a M3.
Well, the price tag for a loaded 335 will be close to a C63...so, if you have a GLK...might not be bad to go with C63...

too bad S4 lost it's V8...

Also agree with the turn signal/cruise control.

Maybe I am vertically challenged but the seat bottom seems a little long, not a big deal on short rides, but on long trips have gotten uncomfortable. Wish this was adjustable.

I have the same problem with the seat bottom. After a 5 hour drive my right leg was kinda numb. And I am definitely vertically challenged!

Is there a way to have the interior lights turn instantly? I can be in before the lights become full bright.

Not so sure about your statement:

BMW MODELS PRAISED FOR RESALE VALUE

Press Release

Kelley Blue Book and ALG Announce Winners on Eve of Los Angeles Auto Show.

Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, December 2, 2009… BMW announced today that it has won two Best Resale Value awards from Kelley Blue Book and a Residual Value Award from ALG. The BMW 1 Series won the ALG Residual Value Award in the Near Luxury Car category. The BMW X5 xDrive35d Advanced Diesel was named Best Resale Value in its class by Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com, and the 2010 BMW M3 is one of the Top 10 cars with Best Resale Value according to Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com.

“BMW drivers are loyal to the brand not only because of the exceptional driving experience their vehicles provide, but because of the remarkable ease of ownership afforded by BMW Ultimate Service®,” said Robert Frisch, Vice President, Western Region, BMW of North America. “Ultimate Service helps ensure BMW vehicles are serviced properly and on-schedule for the first four years, boosting the resale value and desirability of each BMW in the used vehicle marketplace.”

ALG determines the award winners after carefully studying the competition in each segment, historical performance, and industry trends. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing strategies are among the key factors that affect ALG’s residual value forecasts. Winning vehicles in each segment are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year period. Since 2007, BMW models have won five ALG Residual Value Awards.

The Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards recognize automakers' outstanding achievements in producing vehicles that best retain their value. In addition to the mainstream and luxury brands with the best projected resale values across their entire vehicle lines, awards are presented to top vehicles within 16 vehicle categories and for the overall top 10 vehicles across all categories. With these two latest honors, BMW has garnered a total of 14 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards since the awards were established in 2003.

I went to look at a C63 as well as a M3 and both dealerships quoted me around the same price for my car and I was actually surprised at what they were offering at the time (past summer). I've since decided to keep my 400hp 1er however.

Don't know what you do not understand. The BMW 335 has a better resale value then the 135. Look at Kelly blue book:

RESALE VALUE BMW 335 XI

KBB's projection of how this vehicle will retain its value over 5 years.
Year Retained MSRP % Resale Value
New 100% $42,300.00 2 56% $23,688.00 3 48% $20,304.00 4 40% $16,920.00 5 33% $13,959.00

RESALE VALUE BMW 135i

KBB's projection of how this vehicle will retain its value over 5 years.
Year Retained MSRP % Resale Value
New 100% $35,850.00 2 55% $19,717.50 3 46% $16,491.00 4 38% $13,623.00 5 31% $11,113.50

I dislike the way the cargo cover makes a rattling noise when it isn't extended and I go over a bump. Had my 10 year old back there listening to try and locate. When we took out the cover--gone!

I have 5000 miles and just got a stone crack in the windshield two days ago. Nuts!

Garage Door Opener doesn't work with ignition off. Radio goes off when ignition is turned off.

I assume your talking about the Radio. Mine definitly goes off when the ignition is shut off. I was hoping their was a setting I could change so it would stay on but I have been through the audio section of the owners manual several times and can't find it. Maybe someone could help?

Mine doesn't. All electronics only turn off once I open the driver side door (assuming the ignition was off previously).

After going back and reading page 132 of manual I'm not sure if this solves the problem or not. Since I'm in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico right now I can't check it.

Ours did this as well until I figured out that I wasn't doing it right. Once retracted, lift up the flapping end and push it back and down.... there's a lip that holds it in place and the rattle goes away!

No Toyota but I do wish I would have stuck with GM. I have spent more time at Dealership with this car than I have with all the Gms I have owned in the last 20 Years.

Bad experiences tend to cause irrational behaviour. As good as GM may be getting, I don't have any desires toward any of their current line, especially since US Gov has a say so with them. I'm just kidding of course about the irrational behaviour but not about having any desire towards GM models. The SRX, Lacrosse and Enclave are close but not close enough. Still, not one problem with our GLK.
