Found AMG GLK + Front LED option on Mercedes Site (Screen Shots attached)

Found AMG GLK + Front LED option on Mercedes Germany Site, Any luck 4 US or Canada?

Notice the front and back bumper changes and LED lights instead of fog lights at the front.

I don’t read German but those look like dealer options to me if it’s on the GLK configuration site. Anyone seen this on the road?

FYI: Picking up my GLK (fully loaded) this Sat after 10 months of research and test drives, very excited.

Yea that probably won't be coming to NA anytime soon.

Grats on the pickup though!

Ya... there's many little changes besides those you mentioned... even the headlights are different... there are no yellow side markers in them etc... no large side rails under the doors, no chrome accents along the sides...etc...

Smile More pics with a link so you can try it yourself (in German)

The link is to the interactive configurator:
http://www.mercedes-benz.de/content/germany/mpc/mpc_germany_website/de/home_mpc/passengercars/home/new_cars/models/glk-class/x204/configurator_x204.html

It’s in German though

Here is a screen shot with just the sports package (notice it does have the side strips but the LED lights are still there).

Lucky Germans

It might make it's way over to NA for the GLK's mid cycle refresh though. Seeing as how they have to use new headlight units as the fogs are now in said units so the DLR leds can be on the bottom.

Overall I'm happy with the way my car looks now, those changes don't really excite me. It kind of looks more rounded and I don't like that.

The negative to this "AMG" package is that it's only cosmetic. If there were performance upgrades to go along with the looks then I could see MB using AMG badging. Seems like MB is diluting AMG's name with this package like Chevy did with badging every model with Denali. Just my 2 cents.

Not really feeling it. The LED fogs don't look as good as our current round ones IMO. The front and back bumper lower aluminum trim don't quite flow with the lines, especially the front one which makes the car looks like to have a wide chin. The 3-slotted grill might work well on our current car though

I suspect that this is not an AMG package, but as Kamen wrote a mid-year headlight change to include fog lights. I read somewhere that Mercedes was changing the headlights to include integrated fog lights starting in December.

The pictures you sent are not an AMG kit. As from production of december this year MB will change the fog lights integrated in the head light above and at the bottom of the bumper are only "day running lights" as many cars have them now in Germany (Audi, BMW, ...).

it's optional now, i think it's similar to E-Class where some models have led and some have dual regular ones. I like LED ones, hopefully there will be cheaper after market versions.

Funny how threads get bumped down so fast. Here is the post I made a few weeks back on this, I didn't realize this thread already existed as I did a search and nothing came up.
