Smile Another new GLK owner...

Hopefully will be taking delivery of my new GLK this weekend. Here's the rundown:Black4Matic6-CD ChangerHeated SeatsParktronicBrushed Alum. Running BoardsMSRP is $39,435.We're paying $35,664 (I think this is quite a bit below invoice) at 2.9% fin. and credit for first two payments.I think we got a good deal, but this is my first new MB, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. We are trading in an 06 ML-350, which I like but was a little big for our needs. Our other car is an 06 Saab 9-3.Got them to throw in the rubber floormats to seal the deal.

2010 GLK 350 Sandstone Beige
Ecstatic GLK Owner

I picked up mine yesterday. Sand beige metallic with premium 1 package and the UMI. Excellent ride and hopefully watching the mpg increase.

Thumbs up

I picked up mine earlier this week too.

Very happy with the car, Tenorite Grey and Alpaca Grey.

Got all options but skipped the following:

running boards
panorama sunroof
trailer hitch
rear entertainment
sirius
teleaid

The iPod integration is nice, so is the sound quality. System takes some getting used to, I like the driving position with loads of headroom. Camera is brighter than our new Odyssey. Keyless go is great.

Wish it had slightly more rear leg room.

What are everyone's thoughts on the wheel and tire protection offered by Mercedes? They acted like a lot of people bought it, but it seemed really step to me for something that may never be a problem at all. Would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts and whether they purchased that warranty.

I would assume that would be the case if you didn't get the Premium I Option with power tailgate.

Mine is the same way....as I would expect. No Auto function, therefore no control over a function that doesn't exist.

I went for it, apparently it covers even aftermarket wheels and tires, so for those who are crazy enough to install these expensive 20" snows:

AWD is also tricky sometimes with single tire replacement when tires are half worn.

I also purchased the wheel and tire protection, covers rim abrasion, and non-OEM tires. Price is negotiable.

If (true) winter snows are soon to be available in 20s to fit the GLK, maybe 19s won't be far behind. Should be significantly cheaper than the 17s + rims I bought for the winter.
