rear side mirrors question
hi guys, just wondering... my rear side mirror (passenger) side actually moves/tilts downwards when I put my gear in the reverse position. However, the driver side doesnt move at all. When I put the gear on drive or normal, the passenger side returns back to its original position. Is this normal?
I know lexus does that bilaterally/both sides. This is my first MB, so dont know if its just the passenger side thats suppose to move or should it be both.

My mirrors don't move at all in reverse. Do you have a Canadian or a U.S. model? I know the Canadian mirrors fold in when in park...

For both Canadian and US model, only right mirror move down in reverse. For Canadian version both mirror folds manually or when you lock the car (select in menu).

I rarely needed the feature on my BMW, so I set the selector switch such that this didn't happen automatically. Not sure how its configured on the GLK, I will look in the manual to see.

The configuration and operation of the "Exterior rear view mirror parking position" is covered on page 85 of the GLK Operator's Manual. I cannot find the manual online, but you shouldn't have lost it yet!

read the book guys....
alrite...
by factory setting, the passenger side mirror moves down to aim the curb and wheel while in reverse...however you can always reprogram the position...
start the car...choose the passenger side mirror...switch it to a position you like...press M on the drivers door...within 3 seconds press any direction of the position joystick...done...

Regardless of what it says in the owners manual, It is definitely not a standard feature of the US model.

the US glk's without the premium package do not have the seat controls on the door panel, but rather on the side of the seat. therefore there is no M button, and thus, no rear passenger side mirrors that go down.
