2011 GLK release date?

Does anyone know when the 2011 GLK will be on sale? I'm very interested in getting a GLK and taking advantage of some of the promotions, but am wondering whether I should just wait for the 2011. I know the 2010 was released early this year, so does that mean the 2011 will be available Jan/Feb of 2010?

Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

2011 year model will be available from Aug./Sep, 2010.

2010 year Jan/Feb models are named as 2010year model not 2011 year model.

Thanks for the info. It makes sense that the 2011 won't be available until Aug/Sept of 2010, just like all other MB models. I was just wondering whether there was a chance that the 2011 would come here around Feb of 2010, since that's around the time the GLK was introduced (Feb 2009 or so).

Yea that won't happen haha, Feb 2010 is Q1 2010 nothing 2011 will be out then. Fall man gotta wait for the end of year lot clearance specials before the 2011's roll in.

Yeah the 2010 GLK was an early release because it was a new model. That said I don't see them making any drastic changes to the 2011 models, so you might want to just wait and pick up a 2010 left over and save a huge chunk of change.

I'm not too sure that is the case anymore though... unless there is a redesign, the base price of the previous year model will often only sell for $300 to $900 or so less than the price of the new model. You will often get better finance rates, however.

Probably depends on the dealership as well. The GLK is new so time will tell, but from 2008 to 2009 the C class which stayed nearly identical to the outgoing model, my dealership eventually dropped $10k off the base price. Also goes to say that if your interested in a left over, you dont really have a great color selection, or a choice as to what options are on a car, but the deal you receive usually out weighs those negatives. It also seems like dealerships are stocking a lot more GLK's than any other model (due to sales I imagine) but that also means more inventory when the new model year cars roll in as well.

Aggreed... here in Canada (or at least in western Canada), however, the GLK is selling like hotcakes and the dealerships rarely even have models on the lot for people to test drive... I would suspect that most new owners here have ordered their GLK. That said, I am sure that supply will eventually meet the demand...
