Finally got my GLK today. I went through the checklist and check everything on the car (including the tires). I did find a big dent on one of the roof rail though. I was told they will replace that rail for me. I also got the 3M stoneguard full coverage install on the same day.

My car:

Steel Grey
Navi Package
Bi Xenon
Premium Package
Harman Kardon
Media Interface
Rear View Camera
Moon Roof

I will take some pictures once the 3M guard is settled. The weather is cold and it takes time to dry.

Congrats!! Now you need to get some snow's since you're in Richmond Hill!

Very odd about the dent in the roof rail, wonder how that could have happened. Definitely did a good thing in checking the car over in detail before delivery.

Thanks. I took a flash light with me on the day of delivery. I look everywhere and under the car too, in case there's scuff under the bumper. I catch a big dent on the roof rail. I've took a picture of it too as a proof. The dealership will replace one of the roof rail for me. I believe the roof rail can be disassemble and replaced since it is not a one piece bar. The rail is assemble in 3 pieces. The connector is in front and back of the car and the bar is connected in between.

Congrats and let us know how it operates during this Arctic Blast. We're experiencing highs of 33-35F and lows of 15F down here in the Southeast USA. I know that's nothing compared to what you're experiencing but its lasting longer than we're used to. Even Orlando FL is having a terrible week with the cold weather.

Sure, I find a small problem today. The door handle on the driver side.. when I close the door, I hear squeaking noise. The pressure I put in when I hold the handle... is there a fix for that? I read some threads, and some said is normal on all GLK.

Yup... the noise is common... cheap plastic.... other than removing the entire door panel and wedging something like felt or foam in there to prevent the two surfaces from rubbing, there's nothing you can do... we all learned to live with it.

So are you saying Dealership can fix and do that for me if I bring it back to them?

I brought my car to the dealership. The roof rail will be replaced. They will examine the door handle and if needed, a new replacement panel or part will be order.

Congrats on the new GLK. We just bought a new GLK this past weekend. My wife decided to buy the car on a whim w/o any research. I wish we knew about the lighting package before. We didnt ask about it because we didn't know. Thats out fault for not researching before buying.

Congrat on the GLK. Once my roof rail and door handle replaced, it will be completed.
