How far on a tank?

Just wondering how far you can make it on a tank of gas?
-Is the low fuel light on when you fill up?
-City or Highway driving?

Everyone's calculation of MPG can be different, so how many miles or km can you go before filling up?

I recently did a long highway drive to Quebec city. I found out that if I cruise around 120-130 then I can get about 600kms out of a full tank.

In the city it is really bad, around 400-450kms on a full tank.

I don't like to have the fuel light on since someone told me the that fuel system is cooled by gas so you want to have some in there.

not sure what you mean cuz it's MPG = miles driven since last fill up/gallons filled up

I try to fill up when the light turns on.

City driving is pretty bad for me here a lot of stop and go's, averaging just shy of 400km. Probably around 380km.

Highway is alright, I've driven to Seattle a couple of times and I seemed to get around 600km.

something doesn't add up

350-375 is 20-22 mpg if you use all 17 gallons in your tank....what kinda city do you drive in hehe. 20-22 is what I get on highway.

I guess its not really city driving. It's country roads with a few stop signs, traffic lights, and congestion spots at certain times of the day. I really don't experience stop-go city driving from my house to work. I usually get 21.5-22.5 mpg locally and up to 25 on the highway doing about 65-70 mph.

After ordering the GLK, the tank size is the thing I may dislike most about this vehicle... I don't want to have to go fill-up more than once a week.

I wished they had a tiny bit bigger gas tank (or improved mileage).

Yes, a bigger tank would be nice! We were going to buy an Infiniti FX35, and it has a 90L tank instead of 66L, (and the same gas milage), so the extra range would be nice on a road trip.
