Will be nice if we can add the paddle shifts at the steering wheel.. Mission impossible or very expensive?

I know there isn't gonna be an AMG version, but I love the size and feel of this truck. I would love to see the C63 motor, but we all know that aint gonna happen.

Have paddles on my steering wheel, seems to be useful when driving quick in a straightline, doesnt help when your off roading, prefer to use the gear stick then.

Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan
Here's a thought. Maybe you could order a sport steering wheel from the C350 with the paddle shifters, and then have your dealer change out the steering wheel, all you would have to do is have them program the paddle shifters into the computer. TADA!

I know they did that to my Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan, I bought the paddles, and they programed them into the computer. Granted I paid a couple hours worth of labor, but still. It's a fun feature to have when you want to play.

You just bought an SUV not a sport sedan or sport car. Be happy the ride is smooth and quiet. I am happy of what I have.

Paddles for the GLKs is available as an aftermarket accessory - in Europe at least, note:
http://carlssonb2b.de/b2b/index.php?...361340&tid=128

When selecting English language on the Carlsson WEB the option disappears.

The price for the steering wheel with option 428 (paddles), would be approx. USD 1.500 - installation/programming not included.

We had paddles as a part of the packages in our SAAB 9-5 sedan, and have in them our GLK as well, and are very comfortable with it. Very convenient for shifting down going inclines as hand(s) are (normally) at the steering wheel.
