3M Protection Film

Hello guys,

I just purchased a GLK and it should be arriving this week. I am wondering if anyone apply the 3M protection film onto their GLK? Does anyone know where one can purchase this 3M film other than the dealership (preferably in Canada)?

I put 3M to my door edges only.

If you are from Vancouver, you can check these out.

I tried to install a clear protector myself and ended up damaging my car. I recommend either going professional installation, or just repainting the bumper in a few years.

I really believed I could do it. I did do the fenders perfectly, but they are really easy.

You can see it wouldn't take long to become a pro, but you don't want to ruin your car as I did.

thinking of getting it done soon. However, I am going to get it custom cut for the hood and door sills and the rear strip on bumper.
What sort of quotes are ppl getting for the GLK?

I had mine done right after I bought it. I had the full front end including lights, 1/3 hood and front fenders, rocker panels and full sides below the chrome accent strip, wheel well lips and lower rear bumper sides done for $1600.00 cdn + gst. I added a strip along the center of the rear bumper after rubbing against it a few times loading/unloading gear. This final piece is a must if you live in a winter climate or drive on gravel raods.
