I'm thinking about the reverse lights but a lil hesitant. I'm not to sure if they will be bright enough or fit.
Maybe ill change the ones on the doors tht light up the ground. Do u have any good ideas?

I think reverse lights should be relatively easy.

I'd like to make eye brows light up in white (like on C-class) and blink in amber. Need dual color LED blinkers that need to be wired in the same way as small marker lights in on the outside of the eyebrows. Don't know if that's possible.

I am looking for other lamps for the reversing lights, because I find them not strong enough. On a German forum I asked the same and ordered halogen lamps of 35W with BA15s socket, called US lamps NARVA 796.
Today I wanted to install them, but my GLK has totally other reversing lamps: type W16W with glass socket W2,1x9,5d.
Does anyone know if there exist a brighter lamp for this type ? (halogen or LED) ?

For what it's worth....I installed LED plate bulbs in a ML with a back up camera and there is a slight glare when backing in total darkness. Not enough to change 'em back tho...

i bought some led's for my reverse lights and got errors, does anyone know of any led's that won't throw an error? (If it helps, these are the bulbs I bought: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/38-SMD-T10-...10_sku_c02.htm)

The USA switched to yellow front turn signals and marker lights to make it easier to tell when the turn signals were being used back in 1963. Making them the same color as your headlights tends to defeat the intent of the law. Also there are lots of drivers out there who probably won't see that you have your turn signals on because they are expecting to see yellow flashing lights.

I know of two drivers where I work who have vision so bad you might run into them if you are ever out in my area.....
ROTSA RUCK. The drivers where you are are worse. I almost got plowed by a driver near Central Park while I was waiting for a light to change a few months ago. I was on foot and the fat broad who was driving tried to clip the corner until a fire hydrant she didn't see stopped her.

Hey I'm kind of new to this, so i ordered 2 xenon white parking lights. do all of these lights cover the front headlights top eyelids?

Also does the license bulb go in the front headlights as well right under the eyelids??

Curious if the LED interior lights turn on faster or slower than stock? I like the softer stock look but am not too please as they seem to turn on too slowly..

p0g1, i'm not sure if i understand your question, but the front of the car requires 2 sets (or 4 individual bulbs), 2 for the eyelids, and 2 for the marking lights (the little bulbs under the low beams)...also, the license plate bulbs are the same bulb type (pretty much the entire car uses the same type in and out), but you want ones that will throw the light down and out for the plate, unlike the front ones which go side to side...hope that helps

w210, the interior leds turn on gradually just as the stock ones do because that is the look they were going for, but if you turn them on yourself, it's instantaneous....one other thing, if you use leds, they will glow when not in use, and it's distracting at night, however, you can press the middle button (between the front dome light and rear dome light buttons), and it will turn them off completely, but then when you open the doors the lights wont turn on

I think this is a very good solution. Did you just connected it to the wire of the reversing lights ?
Don't you have any messages on the board computer, as all the lights and bulbs are always checked ?

Thanks.
I tapped into the backup light wire on the right side. This is just used as a pilot wire (control cable) for the relay I used. The main 12 Volt for the lamp itself comes from the "trailer hitch connector box" right below the bulb sockets. No, I don't get any messages....thankfully

Here some more pictures - Do at your own risk - No guarantee.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't your hid fog lights, while great for your vision of the road, HORRIBLE for oncoming drivers trying to see? There's no cutoff shield in the fogs, and by just looking at your pics the glare is massive! Let me know if you had a proper solution to this?

Hey guys/gals i just finished installing LED lighting in the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Here are some pics and if you guys like i will post the links of where to get them. Try to order everything at once since you will save on shipping, i as a fool i did separate orders not knowing what exactly to order lol. When ordering the parking lights order 2 of them since you will need the a pair for each headlight. ALso when you order the interior package u will not receive one for the back seat dome light. I used the one for the trunk light and used it on the back seat instead. Hope you guys like!
