Anyone interested in LED lights

Before i begin i would like to thank GDEPAU a fellow member on this forum for helping me out through out trying to get my LED's.

Hey guys/gals i just finished installing LED lighting in the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Here are some pics and if you guys like i will post the links of where to get them. Try to order everything at once since you will save on shipping, i as a fool i did separate orders not knowing what exactly to order lol. When ordering the parking lights order 2 of them since you will need the a pair for each headlight. ALso when you order the interior package u will not receive one for the back seat dome light. I used the one for the trunk light and used it on the back seat instead. Hope you guys like!

looking good, not digging interior LED as I prefer softer lighting as it is but that's just my preference.

How about front LED blinkers? and taking out those orange markers?

Wow they look great, so it begs the question, how much, how many and can you choose the colour? The GLK does come with that driver/passenger white dome reading light, I always assumed it was LEDs.

Nice. Do you have rear view camera? Do the new lights produce more glare on the SST sill plate to the camera?

Personally I prefer to replace the 'white' reading lights to LED with low color temp, to match the regular bulbs. Hard to find though.

speaking of that

I saw a few new lincolns/fords with LED reverse lights. Those things are pretty bright. I'm sure you can repalce reverse light with LED on GLK. I wonder if they would help seeing better at night when backing up. Just an idea.

Well according to the website they have two color options some really blue ones or the xenon white like the ones i purchased.
I did my calculations and i spent 120 U.S dollars for the complete interior, license plate, and the parking lights.

I didnt remove the original orange bulbs for the turn signals. I believe there is a law here in texas that they must be orange/yellow for turn signals. As per removing the orange markers i would not do, it appears you have to disassemble the entire headlight to remove that gross thing lol.

BTW forgot to mention, i just installed my HID Foglights. Took me roughly 30 to 45 minutes to complete. I have the matching 6k low beam with the fogs. Ive read on some other posts that you have to remove the wheels which actually is not true. You can actually do it by removing the black shield underneath and go from there.

I paid $100 bucks for the HID lamps at a nearby audio place. Ive used the same brand of hid for a very long time n never had errors on my old mercedes or volkswagen.

Also this would be sweet to have on as DRL which also blink amber. The only thing is this would require rewiring to make them come one with DRLs.

I would love to see that, would you replace the current fogs or just add these?

hehe i guarantee you will love the way it looks. I went out driving late at night and WOW! I didnt realize how much light the fogs put out with the HID. In combination with the low beams it makes a HUGE difference on how it lights up the road. Everything just looked so clear, like debris on the road n what not. Definitely makes it safer.
