Canadian pricing / MB site change / Tire sizes
Couple of things I noticed:
Metallic paint is now free and not an $890 option.
HP has gone up by 4hp to 272. Likely just a HP - KW conversion.
Fuel consumption has increased to 14.2 to 14.6 l/100km city (used to be 13.3).
Tires are now different sizes for front to rear on the 20". 235/45-R20 front & 235/40-R20 on the rear. Completely confused why they would put different sizes tires on, but hey.

Now that dollars and loonies are at parity, are you guys still getting ripped?

Only the GLK with the optional AMG body/wheel package has those tire sizes, etc.

Standard stuff in Canada (not all listed here, just what I noticed with a quick glance):
chrome tailgate step
chrome fog light surrounds (not exactly the same as the US ones)
rear spoiler
4 matic
metallic paint
auto dimming mirrors
rain sensing wipers
6 disc changer
20 inch wheels
aluminum roofrails
heated seats
cargo cover
grocery box
cargo divider
May well be other differences, but if I spec a US model to roughly the same as a Canadian, the pricing is close considering the loonie is close to the greenback right now. However, in the US, I would get the choice about a lot of things that here in Canada I have to take and pay for.
One thing I notice the US can get is the all weather floor liners for $150 a set. Thats one thing I will be getting next time I am near a Merc dealer in the US.

At least I got all those things standard on my GLK delivered in December.
I had 2 options.
Paint And iPod . list price incl delivery was 36,570.
I paid 34420.
"However, in the US, I would get the choice about a lot of things that here in Canada I have to take and pay for."
If I lived in Canada I would not have bought the GLK, as I was looking for a grocery getter and was not going to pay over 35K.
It's amazing how much I have come to like the GLK just to zip around in.
This car for me is a keeper. I intend to still be driving this one in 6-7 years time. Hopefully longer if it remians reliable.
