Delivery of your GLK....
Just wondering how everyone's experience was picking up your GLK for the first time? Did they go over all features without rushing?? Did your sales associate throw in anything for free that day? (like rubber mats? Umbrella? Coffee mugs? Anything?)

Thanks...My Sales guy told me when I come pick it up he will spend 45 min to an hour with my wife and I to go over the car/features etc. So we will see. And I guess its safe to assume we will not get anything free. lol

My sales guy spent 1 hour-ish showing us all the features and set up our cell phones via bluetooth. I asked for and received a free set of rubber all season floor mats (also got the regular floor mats) and a set of wheel locks (combine approx $200 worth) and of course a full tank of gas.
When I bought the GLk, I got $1500 off and extra $2000 trade-in value on my 325XI(compared to what BMW offered me). So, they didn't make extra money off me to cover for the so call "gifts".

Our sales guy did give us 2k off MSRP which I appreciate and with that said I'm not expecting any freebies when we pick it up this week.

Almost 5K off MSRP and bluetooth setup. I get it serviced at another dealer b/c they're closed on Saturday (yes service is closed) and get an A service for $99 for a little extra drive time.

GLK 350
Just picked up my black GLK 350 RWD on Friday. Sweet indeed. My dealer spent about an hour explaining different functions in the car and we test drove it one more time before finalizing the paperwork. I got it special order so have been waiting for six weeks, price ended up being 4K below MSRP and got the 1.9% APR Fin. Has anyone bought the extended warranty?
I got offered the 7 yr / 75K for $3K? Any advice?

My sales man try realy hard to sell the car. Explain every detail. As far as free stuff, key chain and bottles of water. I remember when I bought my lexus, they gave me complete set of car care product. And the waiting room and show room are so nice with fresh bake cokies,muffin etc. all for free. If you need service and you don't have time to take your car, they will pick it up and return to you. And this my freind is Good Servive.

I picked up my U.S. Spec, 2010 GLK350 4matic at the plant in Sindelfingen, Germany on April 29. After taking the factory tour and an awesome lunch (both free) the Mercedes rep. walked us through most of the features which took about 45 mins and set up the bluetooth for us. We also received free rubber floor mats with our normal floor mats. I'm U.S. military so we get a heck of a deal on buying a Mercedes.

Diesel GLK in 20??

I have seen a few euro model GLK images and they have black rubber? bands applied to the front and rear bumpers at the corners. Perhaps they were an off-road model. IF you have this rubber enhanced style of bumper can you post a few exterior shots of your new GLK?
