GLK roof rack cross bars, anyone have them?
just wanted to know if anyone has bought and used the MB branded roof rack cross bars for their GLK. I have found this ebay item for cross bars for the GLK but am not sure if it's the same. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks.

He/she has two different sets of cross bars pictured in that auction.
The first set looks like a stock photo from M-B. The second set pictured is not the factory crossbars.
Here is a source that may be cheaper than the dealer, which includes a pic of the factory ones:

Here is the brochure:

See page 16 and 17.
The ones in this auction may do just fine at a significantly lower price.
I would suggest not getting too excited about this auction since they are not factory and you can probably get other non-factory ones at a similar price. If they were factory GLK at $70, then heck yes jump on it

Here is a link to the original source of the crossbars featured on ebay: http://www.roofrackforcars.com/roof-rack
They sell the same crossbars for the same price with free shipping.
I am kind of contemplating getting it as their build quality seems to be solid.
Thule 450 Crossroad Railing Foot is universal and is a fit for GLK, the full cost with locks, cross bars, feet will be somewhere around $230.

Yakima RailGrab w/58" Crossbbard
I just installed this set up two days ago. 58" is wide, but I have two kayaks and two bikes I mount up top. So this may be overkill for some. All depends on what you want to carry. All of them will have noise associated with them. MB/Yakima/Thule no one is exempt from wind noise once you through toys on your roof. So be ready. You can reduce this is a fairing.

I am using the Aries roof rack. The cross bars are oval, aero shaped, silver amd just the right width for the GLK. It accepts the Thule attachments. I bought them for $150 from ReRack here in Portland. Here is an example of the Aries roof rack:
